Victory for Signature Pharmacy! Husband and wife owners off the hook!

Stan and Naomi Loomis just got off the hook! The Signature Pharmacy case was tossed out of court by A New York state judge who dismissed the indictments.

Albany County Judge Stephen Herrick said that ”the complex and unwieldy case” against Signature Pharmacy did not even have enough merit to go to trial. Furthermore, prosecutors gave such incomplete information and insufficient instructions to grand jurors that they “have impaired the integrity of the grand jury proceedings to such a degree that a dismissal is warranted.”

Although there were 31 felony and two misdemeanor counts, none of them were going to hold up as they stood. Because of our double jepordy laws, this will prevent District Attorney David Soares from seeking new charges against them. “The game is over” Signature’s lawyer said…
