William Llewellyn - Setting the record crooked…
If you’ve been following my blog over the past few days, you’ve probably noticed that William Llewellyn made this appearance and this appearance. He is the owner of the BodyofScience website and magazine, and the author of the Anabolics series of books. Unfortunately, it also appears that he has been doing several deceptive things…I also believe that the preponderance of evidence I am presenting here today will show that he turns a blind eye to his staff dealing steroids (making his site/magazine/book of dubious impartiality), and in addition has betrayed both myself and Redicat…but I’ll let you be the judge of that. He took issue with some of what I had said in the second link I’ve provided, namely this:
“Llewellyn actually got the samples and information on how they are produced by talking to Redicat, who was the first guy to put them on the market. Long-Story-Short, they quickly betrayed Redicat, by publishing photos of the products, and in addition putting the instructions on how to make them in the book. As a side note, many inferior brands of paper anabolics currently on the market are produced by moderators from Bill’s “BodyofScience” forum.”
You will notice that I make several claims here:
- 1. Redicat felt Mr.Llewellyn betrayed him
- 2. Redi didn’t want photos published (I accept that this was incorrect, although my source of this information was Redicat himself)
- 3. Redi didn’t want information about his manufacturing process out there (Bill hasn’t provided information to the contrary to me)
Mr.Llewellyn phoned me and we spoke twice, and I agreed to work with him, and sort this out. He provided me with evidence that in fact, he was allowed to use the photos from Redicat. He didn’t/couldn’t provide evidence against virtually anything else that I’d said. Despite that, he wanted me to print a full vindication of everything I’d said about him, although he provided evidence against only one of my claims. During our conversation, I mentioned the REAL REASON Redicat felt betrayed….namely that Mr.Llewellyn’s staff used instructions published by him, along with their position with him, to manufacture, market, and sell their own version of Redicat’s paper anabolics - while it appeared (to myself and many others) that Mr. Llewellyn knew about it the whole time (yes, I will provide evidence of this…keep reading).
But in any case, I agreed to either post the information he did provide, or give him a chance to write something for my blog which I would then post, under his name. This is a screenshot of the final email I sent him:
I didn’t really want to make this blog post today (as you can see from the email above). I didn’t want to reveal this much about Mr.Llewellyn’s operation, and how he and his staff conduct themselves…but instead, of
continuing to work with me, Mr.Llewellyn went behind my back, and asked Millard Baker to run this post - not a great way to prove you don’t betray people, huh? As he couldn’t get full vindication from me, he went to someone else. What I feel that Mr.Llewellyn did was to show Millard some proof, in a certain way, and present it in such a manner that Millard thought Mr.Llewellyn was fully absolved (to be fair, Millard didn’t have all of the information that I have, and he did offer to let me respond in his Blog on MesoRx ).
Yet there is no mention in Millard’s blog post from yesterday that I’ve already offered to make amends and correct the part about the photos. In Millard’s post (written at William’s request, entirely) it, he says that Redicat and Mr.Llewellyn were on good terms….and that:
“The truth about William Llewellyn and Redicat is that they were on good terms.”
What is not stated (anywhere in Millard’s blog, at all) is that the emails where Redicat and Mr. Llewellyn were “on good terms” were dated from 2002. I think that is highly relevant information, yet it was omitted.
Why did they not talk to each other for the past few years?
I guess the key word is “were” on good terms (past tense). I talk to my friends daily…or at least weekly….maybe it goes to once a month, if we’re on good terms. If I only hear from you every four years, you’d better be handing out medals and having an opening ceremony - because you’re the Olympics, not a friend. Certainly if I didn’t talk to someone for several years (and we work in the same industry), I’d assume our “good terms” were over….
On the other hand, I was in contact (publicly) and clearly good friends with
Redicat in 2005 when he joined T-Nation, and up until 2007 when he last logged in and I was listed as his only friend on his user profile. I knew him for at least as long as Mr.Llewellyn did, but I was actually friends with the guy until the day of his arrest. Bill provided Millard with an email from 2002, and that was enough to say that they were on good terms. Clearly, the record shows that I was on much better terms (*i.e. actually was on speaking terms) with Redicat…who was the one who gave me all of my information in this case. Noteworthy is that there is no way to know if the emails provided by Mr. Llewellyn are authentic, at all. Millard goes on, stating:
“While William Llewellyn often receives “heat” for his lab analysis e.g. toxic metals contamination in underground lab steroids, there is no “smoke” from the alleged betrayal of Redicat. “
This is Mr.Llewellyn attempt to get full vindication, without providing proof. No smoke? Several allegations are made (by me), one is “disproven” by an email that can not be verified, and now there is no smoke?
Omitted from story is the that in the tone of the emails, it’s clear that Redicat doesn’t really know what’s going on. Redicat (at one point) asks “What is Muscular Development?” and at another point, confuses what magazine William writes for (thinking it’s MuscleMag). Does this sound like Redi really knew what he was getting into?
Mr.Llewellyn provided proof of one thing: that Redi wanted the article written (my blog post never said otherwise), and that the photos were ok to publish - none of my other claims were addressed at all! What Mr.Llewellyn provided was proof that the photos were allowed…nothing more (and as a result, I offered to state that publicly). Certainly the “proof” he provided is nowhere near “the truth” of the situation. And, as I was incorrect, I offered to make another post stating exactly that… And, this screenshot (an email I sent to him) proves that I was willing to correct the situation (again, simply that the photos were allowed):
Mr. Llewellyn (according to both Millard and him) provided Millard and myself with the same emails. In them, Redicat never says “yeah, man…post my full manufacturing secrets….and then, while you’re at it, why don’t you have one of your staff members steal my idea, and use his position with your message board, book, and magazine, to start up his own business as a competitor”
But this is the important part: The primary reason Redicat felt betrayed is that he shared a manufacturing secret with William Llewellyn, and then saw his idea not only published, but STOLEN BY ONE OF Mr.Llewellyn’s STAFF - while it appeared that Bill knew about it the whole time.
What I’m saying here…is that one of Mr.Llewellyn’s staff stole Redicat’s idea and manufacturing secrets to make Paper-based oral steroids, and Bill not only seems to have let him do it, but it would appear that Bill also allowed him to continuously use his staff position to promote them.
The staff member who manufactured and sold Paper Anabolics (an exact clone of Redi’s) goes by the screen name FLANKER - he sold paper steroids under the name “Paperbolix” (among others). As you can see, FLANKER was not only a former mod, but one of the first 15 people to join Body Of Science. I happen to know he was a source of paper anabolics, because he had 2 seperate identities on SteroidSuperBoard (where I had my own forum), and one of them carried paper. But I’m not asking you to take my word…I’m going to provide evidence.
Flanker/ has had the honor of having been called out for being a source as well as a scammer on Steroid.com (by the admin at the time…that’s why his name is in Blue) …note that in the following screenshot, Paperbolix is called out for being a source (and from the name you know it was paper anabolics he dealt in):
You will now note that Paperbolix (aka paperboy) is now named as actually being an alternate screen name for FLANKER:
:
You will additionally note that FLANKER/Paperboy also operated under several other screen names, most of which proclaimed either that he was a staff member on BOS, or that he sold paper:
Clearly, it seems that FLANKER/Paperbolix was using his staff position with BodyofScience to attain marketplace prominence (why else add “BOS” to the front of your screenname?). Therefore, it appears that after Mr.Llewellyn published the means for making paper anabolics (without permission), one of his staff members to stole the idea - and remained on staff while he sold paper steroids (i.e. taking up part of Redi’s market share and profits). Ultimately, when you are selling steroids and are a contributor to a reputable book, Newsletter, and are a moderator - that gives you a clear market advantage.
But wait…how do we know that Paperboy and Paperbolix and FLANKER ,and all those other screen names were actually the same guy? I’ll tell you how…The admin of steroid.com (at that time) looked up all of his IP addresses, and they matched (which I was able to verify at the time, as I was a moderator on the site)…and he posted the information publicly:
And again, here, matching even more of the IP addresses to FLANKER and paper anabolics dealers:
IP location software indicates this address to be near Pattaya, Thailand (where FLANKER has stated publicly that he lives) Now, if we check the Paperbolix website, versus FLANKER’s last post on BOS, they both seem to be on Vacation for the past few months:

Make your own decision here, ok? I’m not telling you what to think. And of course none of this means Mr.Llewellyn had any knowledge of his own staff member stealing his “friend” Redicat’s idea and being a steroid dealer, right? Well, that WOULD be the case…but in fact, all of that information above is from one single thread on steroid.com…and Mr.Llewellyn PARTICIPATED IN THAT THREAD TOO:
It didn’t take long until FLANKER/Paperbolix was a known scammer throughout the community, but the above post by Mr.Llewellyn (made in December 2004) seems to indicate that he didn’t know FLANKER very well. He also says he’d look into it. But he didn’t contact me (I was a mod on steroid.com at the time), nor the owner of steroid.com - nor did he contact anyone that I know of. How is that looking into it?
But in fact, if you check Flanker’s first post on the Mr.Llewellyn’s message board, he was the 15th member to join, and was a mod from day 1 (August of 2004):

Good point bluestrm, I’ll discuss it with the other mods and put together a stcky with the rules and general info, thx for your contribution

And yet Mr.Llewellyn claims he didn’t know him that well….FLANKER remained a mod and on Bill’s staff for the following 4 years….and, of course, remained Redicat’s main competitor as a source of paper anabolics! Now are you starting to see how Redicat may have viewed this as a betrayal? Redi had a unique idea, shared it will Mr.Llewellyn, and then saw one of his own staff members steal it and profit from it for years!!!
Then, following Operation Raw Deal, Mr.Llewellyn dropped half of his moderating staff (roughly the same number that I said were steroid dealers in this blog post) - and of course FLANKER was among the ones dropped. Yet, in the post above….didn’t he claim none of his staff were steroid dealers??? Why drop FLANKER after 4 years of faithful service, right after ORD, if he’s not a source?
Operation Raw Deal (and then the British Dragon bust) were the first times the DEA went after foreign steroid dealers - and right when that happened, Bill dropped half of his (message board) staff. Hmmmm…..
Yet Mr.Llewellyn clearly states (in his screenshotted post above) that he wouldn’t allow someone on staff if they were a steroid dealer….why the contradiction between these actions and words?
So I want you to judge….did William Llewellyn turn a blind eye while a member of his staff stole his “friend” Redicat’s idea? Did he turn a blind eye and allow them to use their position on his staff to give them credibility? Does he know that staff members are doing this? Or did he drop basically all of his foreign staff after ORD for no reason?
I didn’t want to make this blog post, and expose all of this. But my credibility as an author, and someone you can trust has been called into question, and my hand was forced. I needed to respond, and show you the truth. And I want YOU to decide in the end…who is right? Me - saying Redicat was betrayed by Mr.Llewellyn….or him for saying he didn’t betray Redicat? Do William Llewellyn’s actions match his words? Did he knowingly allow a staff member to sell steroids? I’m not here to make decisions for you…
I’ve presented my evidence. You decide.
